## Describe the action and its stopping point

Sidelight AI Assistant can click controls, fill fields, and wait for content to load. It uses the page you have open and your existing session. Tell it the exact task and whether you want it to stop before a final action.

For example, ask it to fill a draft form and leave it unsubmitted. If you want a change saved or submitted, request that specific action. The assistant does not take a destructive or state-changing action unless you have asked for it.

## Provide the information it needs

Name the fields and the values to enter, or identify where on the page the values can be found. Do not expect the assistant to infer a missing address, select an account without context, or choose between similar records without instructions.

- State which record, form, or page section the task applies to.
- Provide values for required fields and explain any selection criteria.
- Say when to stop for review.
- Review the result before authorizing a submission or other final action.

## Use it for bounded, repeatable tasks
